Here you will learn guitar from the start. Step by step you are guided through a program that will take you from beginner to an advanced level.
The course in classical guitar is divided into levels (courses) with 10 lessons in each level. Each lesson is based on a piece of music, a study.
If you're a beginner guitarist, I recommend starting with the first two courses in classical guitar. These will help you build a right-hand technique and fingerpicking skills, preparing you to combine the third classical guitar course with the scale playing course. In the classical guitar course, you'll learn where the notes are on the guitar, develop solid technique, and learn to read music. This can be considered an absolute perspective on music. In the scale playing course, you'll learn to recognize patterns in music, improvise, and understand music from a relative perspective.
Six months of access to the classical guitar course costs 50 euros. The scale playing course is free. Feel free to contact Optimum Guitar if you have any questions, and good luck!

In the first course you will learn to play simple melodies with the thumb on the bass strings. You will also learn to play chords and strum them. In the second course you willstart to play with your fingers on the treble strings. In the third course you combine the thumb and the fingers to play classical pieces and plucked accompaniments.
In the videos at Optimum Guitar School, you will observe other guitar students playing the exercises and learn along with them.
The lessons are suitable for all ages. Children can start playing with some help from their parents as soon as they are able to press the strings on the guitar with their left hand.
It is important that you take your time with each lesson to get the right technique. I recommend that you focus on one lesson and study per week.
Children who can hold the guitar but are still not strong enough to press the strings with their left hand can start with the children's course.
In this course the child plays the bass notes to children's songs on open strings. The songs are in Swedish but the child doesn't need to know any Swedish to take the course.
